Sury Fish, LMSW

Sury Fish graduated from Yeshiva University with a BA and MA in clinical social work.

Sury believes that past childhood trauma can be the base from which one can rebuild their life and that every human has it within themselves to find peace.

Sury works with a variety of issues, including addiction, anxiety, depression, and the repair of toxic relationships.  She focuses on helping her clients find the therapist within themselves.

While past traumas may wreak havoc on intimate relationships and the nervous system itself, doing healing work from a safe space can foster confidence, rebuild healthy relationships, and re-regulate the nervous system.

Sury has lived in Monsey all her life. She has experience working with many of the communities within the greater Jewish community of Monsey. She understands and respects how deeply held value systems shape and play into emotional well-being and relational health.

Sury incorporates many modalities into her practice, including Inner Child work, Somatic interventions, and the Addictions and Codependency theories of Pia Melody.  Sury is also one of the few local practitioners trained in Psychodrama and Psychodrama Body Work, where the client is able to access their deep traumas on an experiential level and then use Psychodrama Body Work to release it from the body, creating a profound shift. She believes that traumas  which have plagued the body for many years can really heal!
