Ilana Rosen LCSW-R and Associates is proud to have engaged Dr. Andrew(Nachum) Klafter as a consultant for our practice. Dr. Klafter is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, Training and Supervising Analyst, and Director of the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute (CPI). He provides consultations in our practice for clients who may benefit from psychotropic medications and diagnostic evaluations for complex clinical problems. He also provides psychotherapy consultations and trainings for our staff therapists. Dr. klafter has expertise in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, treatment-resistant mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and complex trauma (including dissociation). His primary clinical location is in Cincinnati, OH, but he also treats patients and consults with clinicians in the greater New York City metropolitan area and New Jersey. He has held numerous leadership roles at both local and national levels in his work as an educator in advanced training programs for psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, and psychiatrists. He also serves as a psychiatric expert witness (in both the civil courts and Batei Din), professional speaker, and consultant to organizations facing challenges with governance and leadership.
