Cypora Green, LMSW

Cypora is a Social Worker, mom, wife, community member, friend, daughter, and sister. While studying for her Masters at Long Island University, Cypora enjoyed researching many forms of psychopathology, mental health and wellness treatments and specialised in substance abuse and addiction treatments. Through her work as a Social Worker in a variety of settings, Cypora has learned to connect with clients from many different backgrounds and life stages. The challenges her clients face include substance abuse, attachment wounds, self-harm, suicidal ideations, chronic illness, low self-esteem, parenting difficulties, family estrangement, depression, anxiety, addictions (alcohol, drug, sex, porn), impaired relationship skills, pregnancy loss, emotional neglect, childhood abuse and more.

Cypora believes that within safe and secure connection lies healing. The therapeutic alliance Cypora builds with her clients is sacred and respected. Cypora practices within a psychodynamic framework and uses Somatic Experiencing, IFS principals, attachment modalities, artistic and musical outlets to further make space for her clients to find their voices in the way that speaks to them most.

Cypora treats teenagers and adults 16 years of age and older.
